On the eve of the theatrical release of the eagerly awaited film "La rafle", France 2 is offering a special program this evening devoted to the "v raidethe winter", inglorious episode in the history of France. In July 1942, the French police, on the order of the Vichy government and under the authority of René Bousquet, arrested several thousand Jews, some of whom had found asylum in France to escape the persecutions of the Nazis. Grouped together for five days at the winter velodrome in inhuman conditions, these Jews will be transferred to several camps in France, ...including that of Drancy, before being escorted to the Nazi death camps. In this special program presented by Marie Drucker, with the participation of Max Gallo, the actors and the director of the film "La Rafle" will be present on the set, as well as survivors who will come to give their testimony. The show will be completed in the second part of the evening with a documentary devoted to the hunt for the Nazis. The Vel 'd'hiv' roundup, a French story, this evening on France 2 at 20:35.
