The Vel'd'Hiv roundup, a special evening on France 2

On the eve of the theatrical release of the eagerly awaited film "La rafle", France 2 is offering a special program this evening devoted to the "v raidethe winter", inglorious episode in the history of France. In July 1942, the French police, on the order of the Vichy government and under the authority of René Bousquet, arrested several thousand Jews, some of whom had found asylum in France to escape the persecutions of the Nazis.
