This Saturday May 15, nearly 3,000 museums in France and Europe will be open to the public at night. The opportunity to discover or rediscover the heritage and collections held by the many museums, large and small. With nearly 1,200 establishments, France holds the European record for the number of museums, and the five largest (Le Louvre, Versailles, Orsay, Center Pompidou and Branly) alone welcome more than 22 million visitors per year. For this 6th European night of museums, entry will be free and visitors will have the opportunity to share their impressions live on Twitter (@nuitdesmusees).
