For the fourth consecutive year will take place today and tomorrow near Mende (Lozère) the fmedieval cartoon summer of Sainte-Énimie. Fourteen authors will be present to meet their audience and sign their books, including Frederic Toublanc (Vasco) and Brice Goepfert (Les Chemins de Malefosse). During the two days of the festival, activities and parades will take place in the alleys of the village.
On the program for this Saturday: from 9.45 am, aubade by the Sikinis; at 10 a.m., festival opens. Parade of medieval troops with entertainment. From 10 a.m. to noon, and from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m., comic book dedications by the artists in the chapter house (admission € 3); from 10:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., various activities: archery, sketches, fights, dances ... From 1:30 p.m., registration for the drawing competition for children (5-14 years old) which will follow until 5:00 p.m. ; at 2:30 p.m., parade of medieval troops with entertainment; from 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., various activities: archery, sketches, fights, dances ... At 6:30 p.m., prize-giving for the drawing competition then at 8 p.m. for the best comic book; aperitif and banquet; from 11 p.m. to 1 a.m. Free show: medieval pranks and dances.
